Build confidence and improve your stainless steel welding skills with this 20-hour hands-on training program. This course is designed for welders looking to refine their techniques, prepare for employment opportunities, or gain experience welding stainless steel and dissimilar metals in a professional shop environment.
Throughout the week, students will receive guided practice in:
- 308 stainless steel welding for stainless-to-stainless applications.
- 309 stainless steel welding for carbon steel-to-stainless steel applications.
- Proper machine setup and welding parameter adjustments.
- Heat control, weld quality, and bead appearance.
- Joint preparation, fit-up, and industry-standard welding techniques.
- Identifying and correcting common welding defects.
