Advance your welding skills with hands-on stainless steel welding instruction in a professional shop environment. This 4-hour class focuses on proper techniques, machine setup, joint preparation, and producing high-quality welds on stainless steel applications.
Students will receive practical training in:
- Welding with 308 stainless steel filler metal for stainless-to-stainless joints.
- Welding with 309 stainless steel filler metal for carbon steel-to-stainless steel applications.
- Proper heat control to minimize distortion and maintain corrosion resistance.
- Joint fit-up, torch angle, travel speed, and filler rod techniques.
- Producing clean, consistent welds while following industry best practices.
