The Gas Tungsten Arc Welding course is designed to teach students about arc welding safety and the gas tungsten arc welding process (GTA W-TIG) and proper techniques for welding. Students will learn welding and cutting safety; oxyfuel, plasma arc, and air carbon arc cutting; metal preparation and weld quality; weld symbols and detail drawings; and employment readiness. Upon completion of the course the graduate should be able to start work as an entry level structural welder in the construction or industrial field.
